What a truly fabulous tournament – two days of high standard tae kwon do and exemplary sporting behaviour in a wonderfully friendly atmosphere. To cap it all, Anish Rai won bronze in heavyweight  junior boys’ 4th to 1st kup sparring, Evie Ayres-Townshend won silver in cadet girls’ 2nd & 3rd dan patterns and…we have a World Champion in Amber Wilson – Amber won gold in light heavyweight 8th to 5th kup cadet girls’ sparring. Well done also to Jacob Stoneman, Max Todd and Nick Nawrattel who also put in stirling efforts.

Congratulations to the six students who competed at the GTI English Championships. Sophia Record won bronze in girls yellow belt lightweight sparring, Hattie Leach won bronze in girls green belt middleweight sparring,  Millie Davis won silver in girls green belt middleweight sparring, Max Todd won bronze in boys green belt middleweight sparring, Anish Rai won bronze in boys red belt light heavyweight sparring and Amber Wilson won gold in girls green belt light heavyweight sparring.
